Other Contactor Parts and Replacement Contact Kits
Contactor parts don’t wear out simultaneously. Usually it’s the contacts or the springs that wear out first. But there are many different parts that are subject to wear and tear including levers, auxiliaries, arcs, and shunts.
Many manufacturing plants have skilled maintenance personnel on site. Some have robust machine shops to service their equipment. For these industrious and self-reliant folks, it can be faster, more practical, and more affordable to stock the various control parts for quick maintenance and repair.
Electrical contactors can be repaired
Contactors can often be repaired rather than being replaced. But seeking out replacement parts (which may be discontinued) and then purchasing them can be frustrating. Fortunately, Repco is the source for many contactor parts you my need to help keep your plant running.
Repco supplies and stocks contact kits for 27 leading OEMs for both existing and discontinued series. And while their warehouse is filled with replacement contact kits they do keep other replacement parts on hand too.
Their site repcoinc.com now features a Contactor Parts section. Currently you’ll find shunts and springs compatible with a few OEM items - but look for more contactor parts coming soon.
